The following information applies to all site users and visitors and must be agreed with and strictly adhered to before using the site. If you disagree with one or more of the following Terms and Conditions, you should immediately close the website and not use, reproduce or share any information or images found on the site. The Terms and Conditions found on the site are subject to change without notification, and users or visitors will need to take responsibility for frequently browsing its contents.

1) General

All material and information found on the site is subject to copyright and can not be copied, reproduced, imitated or distributed without prior consent. This includes source code, images, information designs, concepts and all remaining content found on the site or used for its functioning. All content and material found on the site belong to Eater Meter. Any information that has been referenced (often found in the reference list) in blogs or articles found on the site belong to the referenced owners, for which Eater Meter takes no responsibility for the accuracy or inaccuracy of referenced material.
All users and visitors to the site will need to be at least 18 years or older. Eater Meter will request personal information such as age and sex (male/female) when signing up to provide the sites catered scoring system. The accuracy of this information is upon the users’ responsibility to provide, and Eater Meter will not take responsibility for inaccurate or out of date user information. The users account login details is of the responsibility of the account holder to keep track of. Eater Meter will not take responsibility for any lost login details any user may have.
All prices found on the site are in Australian Dollars ($AUD). Users are to make payments using credit card or debit card, including all applicable taxes (if any).

2) Information

Eater Meter is a self-education based website which communicates basic dietary information on a general basis consistent with the publically available Australian Dietary Guidelines, and information based on peer-reviewed published scientific research regarding the carbon footprint of certain foods and dietary behaviours. Eater Meter communicates the aforementioned topics and does not directly prescribe or recommend users or visitors follow any nutritional or dietary advice from information obtained on or from the Eater Meter website. Any information found on Eater Meter is not to be immediately adopted and is to be fact-checked by the user or visitor on the publically available Australian Dietary Guidelines, and information based on peer-reviewed published scientific research regarding the carbon footprint of certain foods and dietary behaviours, and discussed with a qualified Accredited Practicing Dietitian prior to adoption for which the user or visitor is fully responsible. Additionally, users or visitors who obtain information from Eater Meter will use it at their own risk.
All users or visitors, specifically users or visitors who suffer from any food intolerances or food allergies, who are taking medications or have chronic conditions like gout or diabetes should not use Eater Meter unless in conjunction with advice and recommendations from a qualified Accredited Practicing Dietitian. Any health-related information found on the site is not a substitute for information provided by a qualified Accredited Practicing Dietitian. Information found on Eater Meter is not recommended to users or visitors who are below the ages of 18, need special dietary advice for a medical condition or are frail and elderly. Eater Meter will not accept any legal liability from any perceived or actual medical conditions an individual, user or visitor attributes to the information found on Eater Meter. Eater Meter will not accept any legal liability from any information found on the Eater Meter website, particularly information which may not be suitable for specific individuals, users or visitors. Each user of Eater Meter will take full responsibility for how they interpret the individually catered scoring systems found on the Eater Meter website.

3) Payment Terms

Eater Meter offers three (3) subscription packages which are detailed below. All payments will renew automatically until you provide notification to Eater Meter that you wish to stop.
a) AUTOMATIC MONTHLY RENEWAL TERMS: After you subscribe to this package, Eater Meter will automatically process your monthly subscription fee on the next billing cycle for the total of $6 AUD a month.
b) AUTOMATIC HALF-YEAR (6 MONTH) RENEWAL TERMS: After you subscribe to this package, Eater Meter will automatically process your bi-annual pre-paid subscription fee on the next billing cycle for the total of $24 AUD every 6 months.
c) AUTOMATIC YEARLY (12 MONTH) RENEWAL TERMS: After you subscribe to this package, Eater Meter will automatically process your yearly pre-paid subscription fee on the next billing cycle for the total of $36 AUD annually.
Any users or non-users who fall upon financial hardships or are struggling financially and are unable to subscribe or continue subscribing to Eater Meter, and wish to begin or continue using Eater Meters services can simply email admin@eatermeter.com for a free month subscription. This request may not be processed more than once a year without a brief explanation.

4) Restrictions of Use

Any visiting or existing user of the site may not rent, sublet, commercially exploit, assign, resell or sublicence access to whole or part of the Eater Meter free material or subscription packages. All information found on the site is for personal use only and should not be resold or redistributed by the user in any way. Any form of disassembly, reverse engineering, reverse coding, decompiling or any attempt to obtain or perceive the source code of the site, particularly the Eater Meter scoring system is strictly prohibited. Users may not combine or integrate the site with any hardware, software or technologies without written consent by Eater Meter. At no point in time shall a user attempt to or disrupt any networks, servers or contents of the site in any way, or affect the display or access of the site to any visitor or users. Users may not use any information obtained from the site to violate any local, state, national or international law.
